Nota de caja: a late-morning set that stays in the pocket — warm, dusty, groove-forward.

A side for a lazy afternoon or a pre-party warm-up. Lado 003 — Freedom Time runs about 23 minutes across 6 tracks: Afro-Latin jazz fusion with funk undercurrents, straight from the underground crate, with no commercial filler. From Isabela, Puerto Rico, as En la Sala by CLMDO.

How this side moves

It opens on Linda Tillery’s Freedom Time and its spiritual-jazz warmth. Then a slow drift through hard-to-find 70s deep cuts: Frank Walton’s Safari and Cabo Frio’s smooth Sophistication.

Willie Bobo keeps the Latin soul alive on Comin' Over Me, and Alex Rodriguez’s El Mercado follows.

Buddy Terry’s Abscretions closes it out. 23:22 in all, trimmed and mastered for listening.

Los discos no se escogen: se encuentran. Esta caja sigue abierta.
